Q: I live in Colorado, and just got my second DUI 42-4-1301(1)(a), 42-4-1307(5), No Insurance 42-4-1409(2),

Registration-misuse of plates 42-3-121(1)(c),Careless Driving 42-4-1402 (1), (2)(a), Leaving the scene accident-damage only 42-4-1602, and Failing to report accident 42-4-1606(1)

What kind of penalties or jail time am I facing?

A: Discuss this with either your public defender or private attorney, but the general sentencing for the offenses is as follows (assuming you are guilty on each charge). Maximum: 2 years in jail, fines of $2,000-3,000 + restitution on the damages, at least 1 year drivers license suspension, and 100-200 hours of community service [this does not include any court costs/attorney's fees]. Minimum: 19 days in jail, fines of $1,000-2,000, 1 year driver's license suspension, and 100 hours of community service. If you plea you probably can get the 1402 and 1606 dropped (unclear on the 121 being dropped).
