Q: Can I take action against my husband's lawyer?
My husband's lawyer won't respond to my lawyer about signing our divorce papers and it's been over the course of several weeks that his office has been contacted. Is there any legal action I can take against him for ignoring my lawyer?
A:
Yes, your lawyer should be able to obtain a default judgment or other remedy through the court! This is definitely an issue your lawyer should be able to handle on his/her own. Speak to your attorney or obtain another attorney ASAP!
