Q: what are my rights if i feel like the school did not protect my daughter against bulling and harassment
my daughter has been getting bullied and harassed since school started we have text messages threatening bodily harm and social media post calling her names ect..from the group of kids that are doing the bulling. my daughter has filed two harassment complaints with the principle which he is refusing to give me copies of. I have talked to the principle and the superintendent getting no where with them i asked for the school board and contact info both the school and superintendents office refused to give me the info. After another incident yesterday with this group of kids my daughter went to the principle yet again for him to laugh in her face so she withdrew herself from school. i need to know what our rights are.
A: You should consult with an attorney familiar with school law. This is not really a personal injury question, except with respect to the bullies themselves.
