Kansas City, MO asked in Personal Injury for Missouri

Q: Can someone sue you for sending a pic of them to someone else. Pic has no head shot and no nudity.

A woman accused my husband of sending pics of her to someone via facebook, email, (not sure) She initially sent the pics to my husband herself taken by herself. But now says someone saw her pic, (even tho she sends pics to anyone) she said that she's knows it's my husband because of an IP address. There is lingerie in the photo but no face to the body at all. Now she said that she's gonna sue him for 100,000$. Is this something that should be looked into for legan help?

A: Unlikely she will find anyone to take the case. Some may depend on circumstances of how it came that she sent them to him.

Do not discuss this on social media, do not respond to her except to say "I'm not sure I agree" and leave it at that--let her do the writing/talking. She may say things that may be helpful if there is anything.
