Q: I charge my ex bf assault n domesticated but honestly I don't want him to get jail time how do I stop it from makin bad?

I Press charges toward my boyfriend for I assault/ domesticated and he had to stay in there till Monday cuz he was arrested on Friday? Can I drop da charger cuz I know later what to press charges, and he just hit me and I pass out by everything is fined they toke me to da ER da same day and I have some bruising but I feel better now but I'm stressing out so what should I do
