Q: ex has my children for summer visitation,he said he doesnt have to pay child support while they are with him? Yes or no?
There is a child support agreement from our divorce and it states he gets reasonable and liberal visits, but there is nothing about child support changing while he has children listed in order, but now he says that georgia law says he dont have to pay support while he has kids for the summer, the only problem is i have their main residence that i have to maintain to keep up and make sure they have a place to come back to in two months i have them the rest of the year.
A: Unless the court relieved him from paying child support in the order, he has to continue to pay. As a result, if he refuses to pay, file a motion for contempt.
