Q: My ex has my dog which is registered in my name. I live pa bit she lives in virgina how can I get her back

It said in the state of Virginia if I file for court case to get her back I just need to prove that she is registered to me

A: In the case of a couple be advised Virginia Courts may assume the dog was joint property, is with spouse by agreement, like other property it's no backsies. If you aren't maried, may be presumed to be a gift. The fact you have donors remorse may not do it for you (understand dogs are viewed as property; like a hammer or a chair).
