Asked in Traffic Tickets for Tennessee

Q: What can be done about a ticket for an illegal lane change and phone use (not texting) in the state of Tennessee?

There was a driver acting like they were going to rear-end me after I passed them. Once the 2 lanes went to 4 lanes, I got over in the left lane then slowed down and got behind the vehicle to take pictures of the tag. I was pulled over for an illegal lane change and phone usage, but in the report it was stated that it was for photography and not texting.

A: You could appear at a trial and plead your case if you have some defense. Or choose to pay the fines associated. Those are your options. But you may face points on your license if you pay the fine and/or show up to court and plead guilty or are found guilty.
