Minneapolis, MN asked in Car Accidents for Minnesota

Q: Hi I just have a question about a car accident Thank you.

My mom got in a car accident last month. She was at a stop, but the car behind her kept running which eventually hit her, and pushed her car to hit the cars in front of her. Now, the car insurance claimed she's the one at fault, since her car is the most damage. The one who is actually at fault here is lying too. I called the department of transportation, they deleted the footage from the traffic camera a long time ago. What should we do? Thank you.

A: When involved in a car accident, the insurance company's job is to make the settlement as cheap as possible AND put the blame on you! NEVER go up against an insurance company alone. Hire an attorney to hold the insurer responsible.
