Asked in Banking and Social Security for Florida

Q: My older cousin basically robbed my mother..

My older cousin was staying with us for a while and took my disabled mother to make a bank account and the teller suggested my mother put a back up on her account just in case because she's blind, and my cousin helped look after the account. she moved out last week and I took my mother to the bank and come to find out my moms only has 300 something on her savings because my cousin has been taking out money and transfering money to her account, can we take her to court? Even if her names on the account.

My mother has kidney failure and blind, the money she's getting is all Social security..
