Q: Divorcing wife can she demand alimony and the house?
I have been married for 3 years. I have one daughter with my wife and she has two 2 from previous relationships before we married. The only source of income is from what I make because she hasn't worked in 5 years. I literally pay for everything and everything is in my name. If we divorced she wouldn't have a job and probably would live at her mothers. If I was to give to sign off a vehicle to her and pay for that and everything else for 6 months for her. Could I keep the house which she couldn't pay for btw and take on the debt we have taken on.
A: All such considerations are subject to case law and negotiation. I suggest you retain an experienced competent divorce lawyer.
