Q: What can i do to stop my husband from being charged with domestic assault?
Im the victim, but the night it happened i had too mucb to drink and believed he had hit me but he hadnt. I got sick in bed and he was trying to get the blankets out from under me i was somewhat awake but intoxicated i fell out of bed and hit my face on a table. I got sick again and wasnt moving he got worried i was hurt badly and was smacking my face lightly enough to keep me awake. I freaked out and thought he had hit me and cops got called.what can i do
A: If he's been charged then he needs to get an attorney asap. An attorney can have that discussion with the prosecutor and can try to resolve the matter by way of dismissal.
