Q: Somebody repoled my car saying I owed 300 can they do that there was no lean it was just a cash pay out I paid cash
I thought I talked them down from 1800 to 1500 I paid them 1500 back in Nov I haven't herd anything no warning nothing just woke up and it was gone they saying I owe 300 that's why they took it there were no papers on a lean or anything I figured it was paying straight cash
A: Evidently you don't have a written contract. Did they sign the title over to you? If so, and if the title doesn't show a lienholder, it is doubtful that they had the right to repossess the car.
