Palm Harbor, FL asked in Medical Malpractice for Florida

Q: Would I have a case to make a complaint against or sue a therapist for being baker acted due to a miscommunication?

there were things I said and things she said that made me feel like she just wanted to commit me. I said I wanted to beat someone due to them harassing my family and posting my wife's information along with mine in public businesses. my therapist then asked me "Seriously?" I answered yes. If she would have said "Severely?" I'd know she was talking about how bad a beating, then I would have answered "NO". she then asked me if I had it planned and I said yes, meaning I always have to have a plan to protect my family if attacked. I mentioned I had swords, bb guns, etc, and she said I needed to be hospitalized. the swords are for show. as I explained to her I am a sword/knife collector and never use them on others. I had no intention of beating the person harassing me unless he came up to me menacingly. But my therapist nevr let me explain all that. Instead I was baker acted fr homicidal ideation. I am by n means homicidal, suicidal or otherwise. please advise me of my rights

A: No, in my opinion you don't have a case against the therapist.
