Q: Can my ex girlfriend from a long distance only relationship get a restraining order on me?
So i dont know if you can answer im sure you can because you are a lawyer but im only 18 and my ex girlfriend wants to get a restraining order on me. We live in different states and have been in a long distance relationship for a year. The reason she wants to get one on me is so i stop talking to her but i do not bother her she doesnt tell me to stop infact she texts me even after telling me she is getting a restraining order. This order will probably ruin alot of opportunities in the future and the restraining order is for such a stupid reason it's because i upset her i know this question is childish but i do not want my future to be ruined.

Send her a certified letter that you will not contact her again.
