Q: What can be done when the attorney of the petitioner for divorce can't get a response from the other attorney?
My son has filed for divorce. His wife ignores all deadlines for response. Son's attorney can't get any response for any request from wife's attorney. What can be done?? They have no children together. He learned he was husband #5.
A: There is plenty that can be done. An attorney doesn't need to sit back and do nothing. It depends on what answer they are waiting for as to what motion they would file though.
