A: First, stop posting on social media. Second, and even more importantly. Hire a top notch criminal lawyer. These are serious charges and trying to do this yourself will be the worst, longest lasting mistake you could make. You can expect jail time, lose of your license and worse! You only have 10 days from date of arrest to request an ALS hearing. That hearing is the crucial first step in defending yourself. A: The time frame varies based on the Jurisdiction. However, you will eventually have an Arraignment date. With serious charges like these, I strongly suggest you talk to a lawyer ASAP.

A: The charges you face are very significant and could result in considerable prison time (years).

The best thing you can do is retain an attorney who has experience fighting those kind of charges, particularly in that jurisdiction.
