Q: I have a class A CDL and just got a ticket for 21 miles over is there anyway I can amend my ticket without suspension

A: When you have a CDL, the only way to keep the offense off of your record is through a dismissal or amendment of the offense to a non-moving violation. At a minimum, the speed needs to be reduced below 15mph over the limit, especially if you were in your commercial vehicle. It is important to note that court supervision will not prevent the ticket from appearing on your public record. You would be best served by contacting an attorney directly to review the ticket and discuss your options.
