Q: Due to a misunderstanding between me and my dad I was stopped for no insurance no registration took care of it same week

What do I need to say or do when I go to court

A: Driving without insurance is a misdemeanor. The minimum fine is $200. The maximum penalty is 12 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Your driver's license could also be suspended. I suggest you hire an attorney to assist you with this matter.
