Q: My sister broke into home I lived in with my dad who had just died without will and stole items can I have her arrested
It wasn't in probate yet or anything and it was my legal residence she broke in while I was out of town

What exactly did she steal? Did you file police report- how will you get her arrested?
Sounds to me like you may need a family lawyer not an estate lawyer. I always suggest trying to work things out among family members as litigation can cost you a lot more than what your sister took.
