Stone Mountain, GA asked in Criminal Law, Family Law, Personal Injury and Sexual Harassment for Georgia

Q: I am in need of some advice. What are my right when it comes to private videos uploaded to the web without my consent

I have had an ongoing issue with my sons father who has now crossed all lines and I fear could have harmful affects on my name and business as I am a photographer. I am not sure as to how to approach this situation, due to the fact when I did originally have a restraining order taken out on him, he sent a private video to my significant other and because of the fact that it wasn't directly sent to me he did not technically violate the restraining order.

If you look at his past records you can see that there is a past in doing things like this. I even have his own grandmother stating in emails to stay as far away from him as I possibly can. His other child's mother who works for Gwinnett County Courthouse even will not let him be apart of their lives for this same reason. Now he has taken a private video of me and him live on a popular porn site and continues to change numbers to keep harassing me.

A: Contact the District Attorney in the County to see if he violated laws relating to inappropriate posting of Internet material. If that fails, then get your divorce lawyer to bring a new action in court to RESTRAIN any further disparagement of you, or possible unfair business practices act, or possibly intentional infliction of emotional distress.
