A: In PA we measure custodial time by overnights so, for example, if the children spent every day with you from 9 AM until 9 PM, but slept at their mother's every night, you would likely not be not be considered to have more than 50% custody. Your question is unclear as to where you are in the support proceedings. It sounds like you've already have an order entered. It's pretty impossible to know from here in the internet whether you can have that order dropped or reduced without a lot more information. If you'd like to try to figure it out yourself, try one of the online support calculators such as the one I'm giving you the link to. Or, the better idea is to have a consultation with an experienced family law attorney in your area. Most of us have support calculation programs so that we can get an idea of what an order might be right there during the consultation.
