Columbia, PA asked in Family Law for Pennsylvania

Q: Help until the courts intervene with custody interference, contempt and modification

Order states 5pm thursday for fathers visitation at police station and returned to me "after leg up therapy Monday"

Father attempted to take him from his leg up appt prior to now, police were involved and child's services were no longer happening due to fathers scene, my fear of him and the situation he subjected child to.

I've contacted him and his attorney for over a week requesting a modified exchange until a modification by court is made. I've heard nothing until yesterday, father stated he was exercising his right of visitation at 5 today. In response, I ask if he was agreeable to meet also Monday at 5 at police being the court order is no longer valid on child's therapy exchange.

His response was "I follow the court order"

What are my options? We are 200miles apart to meet, he's withheld our son at last exchange for 9 days during my summer custody schedule, I regained custody by police assistance and order, and then the following week he attempted to physically take child.

A: It's hard to know what options you might have because I can't read your custody order. I assume you've filed something to have the order modified, but you don't have an attorney. Has this current problem convinced you that you shouldn't be doing this without representation yet? I suggest that you get in to consult with an experienced family law attorney in the county where your order was entered as soon as possible because you're currently stuck in an untenable situation and really do need help.
