Q: If my boyfriend is still married to someone else can our child carry his last name and can he be on the certificate?
My boyfriend who is still legally married to someone else is having a child with me which is due in February I was wondering if he is still married to them by then will it be a problem for our baby to have his last name and for him to be on the birth certificate?
A: Yes he can. Being in a marriage does not stop you from conceiving and having a child with someone else.
