A: If you don't have tail light, there is nothing to fight.

Is there a question whether you were on shoulder.

A: You can try and fight any ticket. It will be your word against the officer's word. It is also possible that the officer may have video of the incident, which means that you would be out of luck. These a petty offenses, it is advisable to just go to court and ask for Court Supervision. Hiring an experienced criminal defense attorney would be a good idea to assist you with these matters.

A: Generally hard to fight an officer's testimony. You might get lucky, and the officer might now show up. At which point, it could be dismissed.
