Q: I had an attorney that I was consulting who without my knowledge was sending my bills to my father with descriptions.
The attorney I am referencing was retained by my parents and had written mine and my children's trusts on their behalf and which my parents funded with annual gifts. At a time when we were all adults and I, with my children's authorization would call this attorney to ask him to clarify something in the wording of these trusts AND prefaced every phone call with "I fully expect you to bill me for your time". And he lied and told me not to worry about a 5 minute phone call. Well I found out that he then had shared with my father EACH time I called and was sending bills for this time to my Father fully describing the nature and content of my inquiry without my knowledge. He has since admitted every bit of it. What should I do?
