A: Hi, if you already have the design of the logo, you need to ask a lawyer or agent to help you search whether other similar/same logo existing.

A: The proper way to go about this is to do a trademark search or a quick knockout search to make sure no one else has registered your mark or anything similar. If you are set on the designs, you can also just proceed with the registration without any professional searches. Most trademark attorneys will include a knockout search in their trademark registration fee.

I would also recommend getting a copyright registration for your creative work. This is a rather cheap way of protecting your work and gives you an extra layer of protection for your work.

A: I recommend speaking with a trademark attorney to work out a plan to begin protecting your design for each of your products.
