A: Child support terminates at age 19. Child support may be adjusted if your child is attending college and not living at home prior to turning 19. Child support for college students is based on number of weeks the child spends at home. The court can order parents to contribute to college expenses beyond age 19 but cannot order child support past the age of 19 unless your child is disabled.
