Q: I have an order allowing me to see the kids every other weekend but she says she's to sick to bring them,what can I do

Legally separated for 2 years, she is prp, Everytime I try to make arrangements to see the kids she says she is sick. I've seen them 4 times this year because of this. Now she says"I don't want to talk to you anymore" and I have lost all contact. I don't know where my kids are. What can I do

A: Failure to abide by a court order can be punished as "contempt of court." You have to file a petition ( a written request), get the papers served on her and have a hearing in which you tell the Judge about these problems. The failure to obey the order has to be "willful" or in other words, in other words, if she is really sick, its not a willful failure to obey the order. Based on what you've said, it sounds like she is abusing your parenting time, so I suggest you file. You should consult an experienced family lawyer soon.
