Q: My brother was just sentenced to 9 yrs on 11/7/17 for a class 2 felony dui with methamphetamines found ? Appeal ?

Stark County Illinois. The urine was taken without permission but the judge allowed it. My brother is now a disabled person by the state of Illinois and cannot walk. My brother was said to have crossed the line, my brother cannot remember a thing from the night 11/9/15. The woman who lost her life was spreeding 62.3 in a 55 my brother was doing 54 she was not wearing shoes or a seat belt and her air bags were turned off. My brother was wearing shoes and seat belt. I need a lot of help I’m sure but I need to get my brother out as soon as possible he has been in jail for one night and they are already refusing him his medication that was sent with him after court when before he was taken into custody. His medicine list includes antidepressants, anti anxiety, pain reliever, and three separate inhalers due to severe asthma! Please tell me or direct me in the direction that I need.

A: I would be looking for a DUI lawyer in Peoria but if you expect to retain a private attorney on a complicated case such as this one, you must be prepared for him or her to request a substantial retainer.
