Zimmerman, MN asked in Landlord - Tenant for Minnesota

Q: How do I stop a land lord from selling/throwing my property?

I was evicted on 11/3 with the sheriff's office escorting me off the property. This was after speaking to the believed a log as i paid the balance by the Monday, I would be ok. I was not permitted to get back into my place until after the weekend. On the 14th I received a letter stating I had 14 days or my property would be sold or thrown away. Starting at that time, my phone calls were not returned so i finally decided to email them on Monday, 11/20. I was told that there was a demanding schedule and the holiday. She said at that time "We can arrange something Monday 11/27th if that works for you or a day later next week" I messaged her on the 27th. asking to get in at 2:30 that day. At this time she told me : "I can meet you there at 2:30pm if you are able to get a truck to load everything. We have taken everything out of the townhome and your belongings are in bags that are being stored in the garage.
