Q: Is a text message where someone admits to stealing from you enough proof to sue? Should a police report be made?
Ripped my family off by telling them he had a friend that worked at best buy and could get discounts on Christmas presents. Was told we would get email confirmations we waited and waited nothing ever came.. When asked he always had a believable excuse with pictures to make you believe.. (Used his daughter) Even after he had the money he kept stringing me along romantically.
Finally came to my senses and started asking around about him and come to find out I was not the first he had done this too. He also ripped off a bunch of local softball players a few years ago and people who used to be his friends.
I have text messages as proof and also a message where he admitted to stealing the money.
