My ex was was served with papers to pay for interim child support until our hearing. He has not made any payments at all. I was asked for his work information. How long does it take them to start withholding my ex’s pay?
A: Once Domestic relations receives information about his employer, a wage attachment order will be issued within a few days. Then it depends on when it gets to his employer as to how soon the payments will be sent in. It will probably take two to four weeks overall.
