Q: My uncle wants to adopt my son & be his dad and my son's father ISNT on the birth certificate and hasn't been there none

What do i do to go about letting my uncle adopt him?

A: I agree with Mr. Grefseng about notice to the biological father, but would also add that TN will only allow a person to adopt in situations like this (where the mother is retaining her rights) if the person adopting is married to the mother.
