Q: In New Jersey my cousin is 18 yrs old and is dating a 36 yr old without parents consent. Is this legal?
This guy lives in South Carolina and is bribing her to come live with him out there. My aunt does not agree. Can she some how stop her? Legally? Or can she sue the guy?
A: At 18 your cousin is not a child. Your aunt has no right to do anything legally to the other guy. Even though this may not end well. Your cousin has some serious "Daddy" issues. At 18, like it or not your cousin can date who she wants. She may however, get a hard lesson, but let's hope not. Good luck.
