A: In Minnesota, people with a Minnesota drivers license will face a revocation of their drivers license as a "habitual violator" under the administrative rules for the Minnesota Department of Public Safety if three petty misdemeanor driving convictions within 12 months or 5 within 24 months are recorded on their Minnesota drivers license record. Since you did not state the dates, you'll have to do the math. Most people would like to keep their DL record clean. The first line of defense is to avoid getting a traffic ticket in the first place. Once that has already happened, the second line of defense is to go to court to try to keep it off the DL record. It won't trigger a DL revocation unless it's a conviction that goes on the DL record.
