Q: My friend being charged for child support on children that are not his
Not my friends children. They are fathered by someone else. How to get this dropped?
A: Your friend should consult with an attorney to determine his options. He may need to request a paternity test. Without knowing the facts and circumstances of the matter it's hard to say how to "get it dropped."
A: How is it that child support was set without him telling the court that the children are not his? He should definitely contact an attorney to advise him. If he is facing criminal contempt, he can ask for an attorney to represent him if he can't afford one.
