Q: Why is my bond not refundable when charges were dismissed and I should have never been arrested in the first place
A: The bondsman still did his or her job in promising the court that if you didn't show up they would pay and getting you out of jail. That is the service that you paid them for. They have nothing to do with whether your arrest was justified or not.
