Q: Once the NCP goes to his initial hearing for child support, can he say no to the amount they come up with at court?
I filed for child support 06/01/17 and they gave my son's fatyher a hearing date of 1/29/18. It's been a long process and I need help on what to do if he disputes.
A: If you filed through child support services they will handle the case. The time frame seems incredibly long though. You may want to speak with private counsel if you are having concerns.
