Q: How long does it take to receive a ticket in the mail?
I passed a bus with flashing yellow lights. I did not hear the driver honk. I was not distracted by my phone or anything, but more concerned about the icy road conditions, when I looked up I saw the bus and panicked. Even with the lights flashing yellow, can I receive a ticket? How long until I receive a ticket in the mail? If I get a ticket can I get it off my record?
A: No news is good news. Hope for never. If you do receive one, be sure to set a court appearance and show up to try to keep it off your record. It's difficult to get one off your record once there. It's best to prevent a conviction in the first place.
