Q: Can i as a stepchild. Adopt my deceased stepfather.

What are my rights rules and conditions of being a stepchild same mom differnt dads

A: You cannot adopt a dead person. Maybe if you tell us what you are trying to accomplish we can suggest a more appropriate solution?

A: PS If the reason all this is going on is that the women is trying to get welfare and is low income, there really won't be any way to get the damages paid even if you get an award. So keep that in mind. Probably the best thing to do is if this child turns out to be yours, is embrace your new found child and make the best of it.

A: PS You may also need to retain an Attorney to limit the amount of child support that they can ask for retroactively if they seem to be over-reaching.
