Q: Unmarried had child from one nignt stand father lied said he wasn't married turns out he was still married
His wife is awful l told her after l found out he was still telling women he wasnt married. They sued got 50/50 temp after 2 months she was 10 months old. His wife abused my daughter resulting in huge hematoma on buttox stripped vistation from then BUT was given back the DA wouldn't prosecute due to mutiple people in the home and social service substantiated it but no admission of guilt so they ended up 50/50 temp new judge the other one died that stripped visitation to 3 hours every Sat. I have mediation and a new lawyer that will barely talk to me. Hes wanting primary custody and l have weekend vistits pay child support. They are unbearable theres so much l could say but not enough room to say everything. They're lawyer is working overtime and well mine barely speaks. I am worried l have been her main caregiver he wasnt in her life and admitted to give me money for an abortion also admitted he didnt want the baby. Any advice please l am desperate.
A: If you are not happy with your lawyer, you have two choice: 1) keep going like you are going or 2) find a new lawyer. Custody cases are tough. They are based almost solely on facts--lots of facts. Without knowing all of the facts, an attorney can't offer an opinion in a forum like this. Best of luck!
