Q: What documents do I file to get my daughter's father to pay what he owes to date for college & medical? She is 20.
Since my daughter is over 19, this is no longer a child support issue, although the back medical is from a previous agreement. I'm not paying a lawyer to enforce a judgement that has already been made. This case is through Floyd County.
A: Based on what you are saying you can file a motion with the court to enforce the agreement. You can attempt to file a small claims against him. Additionally, if your daughter is in college and it was part of the agreement she may be able to sue. But i would say consult a lawyer in your area, this could be a complicated issue.
