Q: Is it a crime for a parent to buy a vape and oil containing nicotine for their child?

My 12 year old step son came to our home this weekend with a vape and oil his mother bought him. Personally, I would have disposed of it but my husband had him read the DANGER section and where it says not for anyone under 18. He told him he can't have it here.
