Ellijay, GA asked in Family Law and Domestic Violence for Georgia

Q: My husband was drunk when he wrote out a statement in himself which GA too out charges on him. He nvr would have done it

He never would have done it if he wasn't intoxicated. I left him and called his mom and she called the law bc he called her saying he was gonna kill himself. Well we have two children together and he got out in October. His bond conditions state we can't have any contact. When they took him to nail they made me write a statement after he had already wrote one on himself. I just wrote what he had done. He has arraignment Monday and I'm worried. I just want my family back. He is not a violent person and he no longer drinks. If he is 23 and that was his first time ever in trouble, and you know the details if the case, what do you think they will do? Can he get out of it because he was drunk or something?
