A: Once you and your fiance are married, contact an attorney who handles intrafamily adoptions. You can't file to adopt until you and their mother are married for 180 days. The attorney will tell you what documents you will need. It's a fairly uncomplicated process. Give me a call and I'll be happy to speak with you further about the process and potential costs.

A: Hire an adoption attorney to file an Intrafamily Adoption Petition.
