Indianapolis, IN asked in Criminal Law and Traffic Tickets for Tennessee

Q: What are our options?

My 18yr old son was driving in TN during my mothers funeral and forgot his wallet. He was pulled over for speeding and in my car and I had my pipe/grinder in a cedar box in the console. We live in Indiana. Can this be resolved without going to court? He was not arrested just given a citation. They took the paraphernalia and sent him on his way.

A: I assume that he was arrested for No License, Speeding, No Insurance and Drug Paraphernalia. Whether it was an Arrest or several Citations,

he needs a competent attorney in Tennessee to look into it, appear with the Son in Court, and dispose of all Charges as painlessly as possible. He does not want a drug related conviction on his record.
