Buffalo, NY asked in Probate for New York

Q: My Mom died in april Leaving my 8 yr old $ 2000.00 in a life insurance policy.

Going to Surrogate Court

Court calls me to tell me I

Need more address then I gave for myself

For cps records.

I gave 26 years .1992 to 1995, 1995 -2018

They want the address when I was a kid

At one point I was taken out of state for a year .i don't even remember the addresses

And at ine point I was living with different ppl for a year as a teen . I had no address

From age 8-12 at father's. House addresses I don't know only city and county

Age 12 - 13 out of state with mom

14 , 15 runaway I guess.

16 - 19 mom

19 -42 married and divorced. But same address.

Court house sending me back the 3 pages to refill out.

I don't know what else to put down

A: I am not sure what you are doing but just deal with the insurance company. The insurance company should issue the money. Leaving to a minor is never a good idea, but there is nothing you can do now. Why is CPS involved?
