Q: My son fell on very wet stairs at a Hampton Inn in Chicago. Missed work, medical bills, contracted a staph infection.
This happened on June 30, 2018. The stairwell was slippery from pipe condensation. After he fell, they put up signs that the stairs were wet. The manager said that it happened because it was so hot that day. I doubt that was the hottest day in Chicago history. We live in Overland Park, KS. Thank-you.
