Q: 2 girls attacked me and another girl was beating me with a bat. I was wondering can I sue them. And trying to see how.
I was walking down the street. It was three girls in a car that I have known for years since 8th grade. And I stop messing with them every since May 2018 because they always jumping people and being in mess and when I told them, they wanted to fight me. Back to what I was saying, they jumped out the car and one of them Tanyai Sims started to attacking me, we both was fighting I was getting the best of her. Then a big girl name shakerria exum came along pushes me down. The another girl Angelica hooks start beating me up with a bat.
A: Can you sue? Yes. Can you win? That's the more difficult question. There are time limits from when you can file a lawsuit for assault/battery. Plus the facts of each case are different. Consult an attorney to determine your options.
A:
First, did you file a complaint with the police? Second, even if you win, unless these girls have money of their own there's nothing to pay an attorney from.
So yes, you can make a claim but as far as your medical bills see if your state has a crime victims compensation act.
